A recurrent, nontender, sterile, chronic lipogranulomatous inflammation of the meibomian gland. Huh? I didn't even know I had a meibomian gland. And it can have a chronic lipogranulomatous inflammation? Ick. It's an uninfected lid nodule, they can be secondarily infected.
Not usually an infection.
Usually get better on its own, they may need removal.
This is why we have opthalmologists.They also know where the 'p' goes in their subspecialty.
