Gram negative rod (PubMed)
Found water, soil, and plants.
Often colonizing hospital equipement and environment.
TMP/Sulfa has been the treatment of chice (there may be synergy when ticarcillin/clavulanate is added) or minocycline (Pubmed) or perhaps cefepime, often resistant to quinolones, aminoglycosides, carbapenems, and other third generation cephalosporins (PubMed).
Given all the resistance, get susceptibilities.
