Rotting organic material like fruit and vegetables, soil.

Syndromes

Usually invasive disease such as pulmonary, disseminated and cutaneous in patients with profound immunodeficiencies.

Treatment

May depend in the species. I&D if you can. Amphotericin is the traditional therapy and may be best. Posaconazole look promising as does isavuconazole. As always there are a smattering of case reports of survival with combination therapy.
